For any construction unit, the need to use power tools in the absence of a power supply is a familiar situation. This happens both in accidents when all power sources are disconnected, and in routine and repair work, especially when working overhead or in confined spaces, where the use of standard power tools is either difficult or not possible at all. Therefore, many are familiar with the situation when builders have to make holes or cut something with ancient improvized hand tools, which affects both the speed and quality of work performed. Conveniently, the batteries are fully compatible with each other, which means that the same battery and charger will work for any tool. Moreover, such batteries are also used in BOSCH measuring equipment such as thermal imagers, levelers, etc.

The batteries themselves have many technologies on board: overheat and overcharge protection, critical discharge protection, all-or-nothing technology where the power tool either runs normally or stops if the battery has reached a critical discharge and many other technical solutions that increase the charge and extend the life of the batteries.
