Electric Melter of Gamma Meccanica
Gamma Meccanica S.p.A. has over 100 technological plants for the production of mineral wool and over 500 plants for the recycling of plastic materials installed around the world. The machinery for mineral wool production of Gamma Meccanica S.p.A. offers the high performance and advanced technology.
Gamma’s electric melter with fiberizer (or spinning machine)
The strengths of Gamma are: research, development, experience, reliability, attention to market needs and use of energy sources. Gamma Meccanica designs and manufactures complete technological lines with both electric melter and cupola. The electric melter is the technological heart of the system for the production of mineral wool, which transforms the basalt into melt.
Pendulum
Many countries reduce the use of coke for environmental reasons, so Gamma has decided to support its customers by equipping its lines with an electric melting furnace, because the electricity is a more sustainable source of energy. It’s also more efficient in terms of productivity. For example, to obtain one ton of melt, you need practically 50% less energy compared to the cupola.
Insulating materials made by Gamma Meccanica lines
Gamma Meccanica provides also a wide range of special equipment for the production of pipe sections, uncured felt, lamella mat, stitched mattresses, hydroponic materials and ceramic fiber.
