The TECNO extruder by Bongioanni Macchine has been designed to meet the diverse production requirements of the heavy clay industry, delivering high productivity, operational reliability, and consistent product quality. Among its key advantages are the TES (Total Extrusion System) and the patented RAV (Automatic Speed Regulation) system—two technologies developed by Bongioanni to optimize extruder performance while reducing operating costs.

Bocca

The TES system provides fully automatic control of the entire extrusion process through continuous monitoring of operating parameters. The collected data are processed in real time, enabling automatic adjustment of operating conditions to improve process stability, reduce setup time, and optimize energy consumption. In addition, production data and alarm logging provide valuable support for performance analysis and continuous equipment improvement.

The RAV system controls the screw shaft rotational speed. By monitoring the power consumption of the feed motors, it determines the filling level of the vacuum chamber and automatically adjusts the extruder speed, maintaining it at the minimum optimal level required for production.

The combined operation of the TES and RAV systems delivers numerous benefits, including: consistent clay feeding into the die, improved material homogeneity, enhanced quality of the extruded product, reduced energy consumption, lower wear of abrasion-prone components. HIGH-EFFICIENCY EXTRUSION HEAD

Bongioanni has developed the HE (High Efficiency) extrusion head—a solution designed to increase extruder productivity, reduce energy consumption, and extend the service life of wear components. This technology is based on the use of replaceable modular inserts made from a high-strength self-lubricating material, specifically engineered to reduce friction between the clay and the internal surfaces of the extrusion head. As a result, material flow becomes smoother, reducing the internal pressure inside the extruder as well as the torque required to rotate the screw shaft. This leads to a more efficient extrusion process with lower energy consumption and reduced mechanical stress on the entire machine. The inserts can be replaced quickly without modifying the head structure, simplifying maintenance operations while preserving the original geometry of the component over time. The use of wear-resistant steel inlet rings and premium-quality materials also ensures excellent abrasion resistance and enhanced operational reliability. Field test results demonstrate average energy savings of 10–15%, greater extrusion process stability, lower operating temperatures, and increased productivity across a wide range of applications.
