Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
On behalf of the Almaty City Administration, I would like to welcome the organisers, exhibitors and visitors of KazBuild 2011, the 18th Kazakhstan International Construction Exhibition.
The relevance and importance of this prestigious professional forum is due to the priority positions that the industry occupies in Almaty and Kazakhstan. KazBuild has become a centre for business contacts, experience sharing, and cooperation between scientific, design, construction and commercial organisations.
I am confident that the KazBuild 2011 international exhibition will demonstrate the latest advances in building materials, structures and technologies, in order to introduce them into practice and aid the implementation of the priority national construction project.
I would like to thank the organisers of the exhibition, who have made the exhibition interesting and convenient for visitors.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
On behalf of the Agency for Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I would like to welcome exhibitors and guests to the 18th Kazakhstan International Exhibition of Construction and Interiors, Windows, Doors and Façades, Ceramics and Stone - KazBuild 2011.
The construction industry is currently going through its development stage directly linked to economic stability of Kazakhstan.
In 2010, the programme on upgrade and development of housing and utilities sector was launched in Kazakhstan. It will be effective for 5 years, until 2014. Main goals of the programme: renovate the existing utilities and municipal facilities, ensure 100% access to high-quality water, and set up the institutional basis to improve efficiency of the housing and utilities sector.
For as long as 18 years, KazBuild has presented advanced materials and technologies of local and foreign manufacturers of building and finishing materials. The unabated interest from specialists attending KazBuild demonstrates the importance of the project for the construction industry.
I am sure that KazBuild provides specialists with an opportunity to learn about new trends in the construction industry and thus contribute to the development of Kazakhstan’s construction industry.
May everyone enjoy a constructive work, succeed in their business and achieve their goals!

On behalf of the Kazakhstan exhibition company ITECA, its partner in Kazakhstan, Central Asia and the Caucasus, the international exhibition company ITE Group Plc., and myself, I would like to cordially welcome exhibitors and guests to the 18th KazBuild 2011 Kazakhstan International Construction Exhibition.
Held since 1994, KazBuild has for 18 years been the leading construction forum not only in Kazakhstan but also in Central Asia.
This year, exhibitors include 250 companies from 22 countries. The interest in this professional forum is generated by the fact that it serves as a venue to communicate with partners and potential clients, monitor the market, and demonstrate your products and services to thousands of specialists who annually attend KazBuild.
In recent years, the general trend of capital construction has been augmented with another associated sector which forms the habitat, landscape architecture and urban design. This trend needs an expedited development and therefore I hope that the second GreenTerra Site Improvement and Landscaping Festival during KazBuild will be of interest for all visitors.
On behalf of the organisers, I would like to express my thanks and recognition to the Agency for Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty City Akimat, our business partner Atakent Exhibition Centre, our international partners, and of course, all exhibitors.
