FROM SEPTEMBER 02 TO 04, 2026, ALMATY WILL HOST THE 32ND KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL BUILDING AND INTERIORS EXHIBITION KAZBUILD 2026.
In addition to a large-scale exhibition featuring more than 350 companies from 27 countries, the Exhibition will present an extensive business programme bringing together representatives of government authorities, construction and design companies, material manufacturers, architects and developers. The participation of leading experts from the international architectural firms ZHA and Mangera Yvars Architects will give the programme a distinctive international focus. The business programme will open on September 02 with a joint plenary session of KazBuild and Aquatherm Almaty 2026 titled “New Construction Code, Tax Policy and Digital Regulation: Reforms Transforming Kazakhstan’s Industry.” Representatives of government authorities and professional associations will discuss the initial results of the new Construction Code, the implementation of BIM, new approaches to expert review and quality control, and the use of AI tools by designers and engineers.
A special industry section for window industry professionals will occupy a prominent place in the business programme. The programme is organised jointly with School Okna+, with the support of the Official Partner Bastau Almaty LLP, representing the SMART brand, and Business Programme Partner Meesenburg Kazakhstan LLP.
On the first day, September 02, the Grand Window Forum will be held, focusing on the development of the window technology market in Kazakhstan and the CIS countries. The Forum will include the panel session “Kazakhstan’s Construction Industry: New Market Rules and the Development of Domestic Manufacturing.” The moderator and industry expert will be Aleksandr Kitayev-Smyk of School Okna+. The topic of construction efficiency will continue during the panel session “Thermal Insulation Materials in Kazakhstan: Industry Market Overview and Modern Approaches to Improving Energy Efficiency.” The discussion will focus on the development of the thermal insulation market, new construction requirements, BIM and modern polymer solutions for the construction industry.
One of the main events of the entire business programme will be KAZBUILD URBAN FUTURE FORUM 2026, dedicated to the topic “Urban Planning Priorities, Architectural Standards and Kazakhstan’s Investment Agenda for 2026–2030.” The Forum will broaden the discussion to address a larger question – what the urban environment of Kazakhstan and Central Asia will look like in the coming years.
The Forum will open with the panel session “Cities of the Future in Central Asia: SmartCity, Sustainable Construction and the New Urban Environment.” The session’s central practical focus will be Alatau City, one of Kazakhstan’s key projects for creating a new urban environment, where SmartCity technologies, green standards and the territory’s investment appeal are being integrated in practice.
The discussion of cities and their architecture will logically continue with the international panel “Architecture of the Future: Global Practice, BIM, Parametric Design and AI Solutions.” The discussion will focus on parametric design, the use of AI, the combination of historical heritage and modern technologies using the Sagrada Família as an example, and the role of Kazakhstani designers in international projects. The exhibition will include the HD MAGAZINE panel session “Blue-Green Infrastructure in Central Asia: New Markets for Development, Engineering and Investment.” Experts will discuss urban water resource management and the development of blue-green infrastructure as a new area for investment and property development.
Thus, KazBuild 2026 will serve not only as a platform for presenting construction materials and technologies but also as a venue for professional dialogue on the future of the industry – from new regulations and digitalisation to modern architecture and urban development.
The Exhibition is held with the official support of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Almaty, trade missions and diplomatic missions.
