Kazbuild 2019 - contemporary building technologies, materials, equipment, and new design solutions

The 26th Kazakhstan International Building and Interior Exhibition KazBuild 2019 will be held on September 4 - 6 in Almaty. The exhibition is an effective business platform for the expansion of building and finishing materials sales in Central Asia and increasing the sales volume. The participation of more than 5,000 industry experts and more than 300 international and domestic companies that will demonstrate new products and solutions is expected. During the exhibition, professional designers and architects will be trained at the school, a Design Laboratory and VR-space with interiors, a competition of young architects and designers, B2B meetings, as well as seminars and round tables from leading companies and associations of the construction industry are organized. Companies from Austria, Belarus, Denmark, Iran, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, the United Arab Emirates, Poland, Russia, USA, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine have already confirmed their participation in KazBuild.

National teams will be represented by Germany, India, Portugal, and Turkey. Volgograd, Krasnoyarsk, Leningrad, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Penza, Tyumen and Chelyabinsk states along with the Republic of Bashkortostan will make collective booths. The organizers continue to form exhibition booths and receive applications for attending the event.

KazBuild 2019 exposition will occupy three pavilions in Atakent exhibition complex and will be presented by the following sections: construction materials, equipment and tools, ceramics and stone, window technologies, interior, finishing materials.

Companies-exhibitors will present the following at their booths: decorative elements made of polyurethane and polystyrene foam, wooden mosaic, 3D panels for walls, window and door fittings for PVC systems, locks on entrance doors, interconnecting, aluminum and PVC doors, chrysotile-cement corrugated and general construction flat sheets, trim, pipes and etc. Moreover, tools for electrical work, industrial instruments, liquid wallpaper, decorative silk plaster, automatic doors, automatic high-speed gates, aluminum and steel composite panels - ACP, SCP, window devices for various types of a sash, metal tile, metal siding, professional sheet of various markings, etc.

The construction industry is one of the most actively emerging sectors of the economy of Kazakhstan and has a significant impact on the socio-economic development of the country and states. The amount of investment in residential construction equaled 321.9 billion tenge, an annual increase of 17.1% for the four months of 2019 (source: ranking.kz).

The number of houses is increasing rapidly due to the growth of investment in residential construction. In the four months of 2019, the total floor area of the newly commissioned buildings amounted to 3.5 million square meters, the construction of houses with the floor area of 13.1 million square meters is planned in 2019.

At the present time, the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan has developed the Concept of the Nurly Zher State Housing and Communal Development Program for 2020-2025, the main goal of which is to continue improving the quality of life of the population through the complex solution of housing construction tasks, water supply, public services improvement, house repairs and the improvement of regulatory and technical documentation.

Many foreign companies are attracted by this trend, which is also reflected at KazBuild exhibition. Over 60% of exhibitors at the exhibition are foreign companies who consider Kazakhstan as a promising market for construction products, and the exhibition as a unique business platform for signing new contracts and entering the local market.

For three days, from September 4 to 6, 2019, visitors and participants will enjoy a rich intense program. A specially organized platform for B2B meetings will create an opportunity for suppliers to establish contacts with major DIY networks in Kazakhstan. And on September 5, a delegation of buyers from Kyrgyzstan with specific invitations will visit KazBuild.

With the support of the League of Architects and Designers, a competition of young designers and architects called Perspective Design will be held for the first time at KazBuild 2019. At the competition, young designers and architects will be able to showcase their projects to potential customers, and industrial companies will have the opportunity to replenish their personnel line with talented specialists. At the official award ceremony, the winners of six nominations in different areas of design will be able to realize their projects and will receive prizes from partners on September 6.

One more special event at KazBuild 2019 - School of professional designers and architects, which will function throughout all the days of exhibition and will include: educational trainings, workshops on interior design, housing design, BIM solutions, HORECA, time management, freelance , work in the studio and start of a new business, SMM for professionals promotion and many other relevant issues. Upon completion of training, each specialist will receive a certificate from the Association of Architects, Designers and other professional participants in the construction industry.

Design Laboratory and VR space with interiors, KazGor workshops, round tables on the development of energy-efficient construction, design of residential buildings, and the interaction of construction companies and suppliers are included in the business program of KazBuild 2019. On the Demonstration site practical seminars, consultations of designers and architects will be held.

Another novelty at KazBuild 2019 is the extension of the exhibition working hours on the third day until 6 pm.
